We started in Oklahoma. We drove through Texas and got to see probably the biggest steak the world has ever seen. It’s true that everything is bigger in Texas! Also in Texas we went to Cadillac Ranch. I got to spray paint my name in silver and maroon letters. I didn’t get a hunk of paint though. Once we drove out of Texas we went to New Mexico. In New Mexico we got to see some really pretty hills and mountains and things—lots of vegetation and cacti and stuff. Right now we’re in Coronado State Park.
We had some interesting discussions in the car. At the camp site we played a really really fun game of spoons. I almost won but someone I will not name grabbed the spoon out of my hand and gave it to Caleb. After the card game we went to see the Rio Grande. I got my flip-flops pretty filthy, but we have water at the campground, so I got them cleaned off.
