Eduarda has the rings in here hands, ready for yet another try....

but this graceful action shot shows how most everyone met the water on most of the their tries!

We're in Custer, SD at the moment, totally overwhelming the only laundromat in town. They were not ready for this, but couldn't be any nicer or more helpful. Many of these kids have never operated a coin laundry before! We've been to the Crazy Horse monument this morning, and just a little while ago, were all set for a horseback ride, but rain made a sudden change of our plans. We'll have a little more time to explore Custer now. We like to say in TN, "if you don't like the weather, just wait a minute, " but I think it might apply better here! We've had unexpected rain off and on for three days now. Yesterday, we returned from our swim to find our tents standing in water, sleeping bags soaked. Then, after a rain-free evening, thunderstorms rolled in and we moved all underneath the pavilion at our campsite to sleep under cover on the concrete floor. No worries - we're flexible!
